Additional Equipment Requirements

Cable card HD TV tuners require a cable TV network subscription. The cable cards are provided by your cable company and replace the traditional set top box.

To stream TV and other content around your home you will need a home network. While it is possible to stream content over a wireless network, a wired network is recommended.

The Hidden Stream Extender can receive content in other rooms in your home over your homes network. Stream over IP can also stream content to receivers mounted behind or near your other TV's. To enable DVD recordings, additional software can be downloaded from the internet. It is your responsibility not to copy DVD's if it is against the law in your area.

 

If the system is not using a TVs internal speakers, an amplifier or surround sound receiver may be required.
